I am passionate about supporting those who are wanting to have a deeper exploration and are ready to move beyond traditional talk therapy.
About me
As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with over 15 years of experience, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families navigating relational and mental health challenges. My own identities—including being queer, trans, and neurodivergent—are integral to how I show up in this work. These aspects of who I am are also political, and they shape my commitment to creating inclusive, curious, and affirming therapeutic spaces.
Since 2018, my training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy has grounded me in a Somatic approach, helping clients explore the deep connection between trauma and the wisdom our bodies carry. My practice also integrates modalities such as Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, DBT, and parts work. I approach all of this through trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, neuroqueer, and decolonizing lenses.
A significant part of my work is dedicated to serving the 2SILGBTQ+ communities, where I offer support around gender, sexuality, and identity. I’m particularly interested in how our intersectional identities, personal histories, and experiences of oppression shape our relationships—with ourselves and with others. I also support families and caregivers navigating the complexities of youth gender journeys, mental health concerns, and neurodivergent experiences. As both a parent and someone with over a decade of experience supporting caregivers, I believe that healing ourselves enables us to show up for our kids in the ways they need most.

Somatic therapy centres on the understanding that the body holds invaluable wisdom, serving as a key instrument in achieving profound healing. By attuning to bodily sensations and fostering present-moment awareness, we are guided to navigate life's challenges with resilience and authenticity.
As an Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapist, I draw upon a wide range of approaches to facilitate healing for my clients, including somatic techniques that utilize the body as a pathway to explore and address unresolved trauma. Through gentle exploration and experiential learning, clients embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and self-compassion, shedding the layers of tension and unresolved emotions that may impede their ability to live authentically and fully.
